We have an oak cabinet (veneer shelves and sides, solid doors and trim) that was built about 30 years ago by a local carpenter. We love it but it has had a "doggie doo" smell inside ever since we got it when it was new. It still does! It looks totally normal, but when you open the doors, there it is. Humidity seems to make it worse. We do not know what kind of finish it has, but it is not bare wood. Do you have any suggestions on how we could mitigate this problem? It was less an issue when we lived in Arizona, but here in Indiana it has gotten worse. View answer

I am thinking about getting new flooring. I need the top stiff enough that wheels from a wheelchair, office chairs wheels, walker wheels will not sink down making it harder to roll over. I would like cork underlayment under to make walking and standing easier on your joints. Could I put cork underlayment on any of the three flooring options listed below (if so, will you please tell me how thick the cork underlayment could be and the best density? Option 1) Marmoleum Click (engineered with backing of wood and cork). Option 2) Marmoleum Sheet (glue down, no hard backing) Option 3) Marmoleum Tile (glue down, no hard backing)Also, which one would be the best for wet areas such as the kitchen and bathroom? Plan to install travertine flooring. Per industry recommendations, will use two layers of 3/4" subfloor (not glued together) to get a stiff floor section. However, we are concerned such a stiff floor will be 'hard' to walk on, day in, day out. Would cork add some 'give' back to this floor if applied on top of the two layers of 3/4 subflooring? Which color tile is closest to bright white? I saw this image on your site - https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/Forbo-Marmoleum-Composition-Tile-MCT?faux=15919 - and the white looks pretty white, but I couldn't find a similar tile, Thanks! Last year we bought a finch pine picnic table with a clear coat finish. Since the table lives outdoors, we want to keep it well-protected by applying a fresh coat every spring. Is this the best product of yours to protect an exterior finch pine picnic table? Thank you. View answer

Hi! Frequent shopper from your inventory. I have a new dresser in solid parawood to build for my son. I discovered that the back panels and bases to the drawers are plywood/particle board. I want to use the maple stain but which sealer is the best for sealing out any off gassing, that is also the safest for his clothing to touch? View answer

My dog has dinner-dates with friends a couple of times weekly, during which morsels of dry dog food are tossed on the floor a couple of pebbles at a time, and the dogs have to listen to where the food lands and/or sniff it out and find it. (Great 1/2 hour activity for inclement weather!) Would it be safe for our dogs to lick up morsels of food off the floor with this product on it? Thanks. View answer

Also, to add to my first question I am also highly chemically sensitive. It will be used in the top part of HVAC air handler to seal & encapsulate a 14in long x1in thick piece of fiberglass duct board. How might it hold up to those conditions of moisture & cold air coming out for years? View answer
