My wife and I are about ready to make the marmoleum click purchase, I think, haha...watched all the install videos, checked out images, etc etc...My question for today is, when you put the little spacer chips at the edges of walls in during the install-and lets fast fwd to the job being all done, do you REMOVE those spacers, and set in your baseboard/trim/bullnose/whatever you're finishing the edges with? or do those spacers need to stay in?? I ask because, with it being a FLOATING FLOOR, if I remove the spacers, could the floor shift? View answer

Does the Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc make a clicking or tapping sound when walking on it? I have looked at floating vinyl plank floors and don't like the sound they make, even when backed with cork or foam. In the past, we used original Marmoleum squares glued on a concrete floor and it was rock solid for 20+ years, but this will be on a newly built OSB floor and we'd prefer not to glue. I am going to put "Donkey Island" in our butler pantry, laundry room and a small guest bathroom. I am looking at Natural Cherry wood for cupboards in the pantry. I will put in the same wood in the laundry in the lower cupboards and blue cupboards above. The color I choose for the blue was Sherwin Williams "Favorite Jeans". Do you thinking that Favorite Jeans blue color is a good pick to go along with the Donkey island flooring? I am picking out Silestone Statuario for our countertops. Getting ready to install the Marmoleum Click we received yesterday. In those areas where the panels must be cut to fit around obstructions or can't be angled in, Forbo's instructions call for shaving down the groove side of the panel and to use "wood glue" to substitute for the click mechanism. They don't specify what type of "wood glue." Am I free to use the "Titebond II" indoor/outdoor wood glue that I have on hand? One video that I found recommends using vinyl adhesive caulk, which gave me some cause for concern. Thank you in advance for your response! View answer
