Can a clear Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Exterior Wood Protector be applied on top of wood previously treated with linseed oil? I'm interested in this product but curious if you can install over existing sheet vinyl. We have original sheet vinyl over 3/4 inch plywood subfloor which has some deflection. Is it advisable to put down a thicker underlayment on top first? We actually had LVT installed over the sheet vinyl with grout but the grout started to crumble immediately. So we have to start over. I'd prefer this product since it's also non toxic. But want to make sure it'll hold up on our existing floors. Thank you! View answer
