For sealing granite, I see you don't carry Aqua Mix Sealer's Choice Gold as they use microban which is an antimicrobial. Would you recommend this product as an alternative as I see they don't use microbes (Aqua Mix Penetrating Sealer-non VOC formula). Would this work for sealing granite countertops in a kitchen? Hi there, I'd like a softer feel under foot and would like to use two layers of carpet padding because of the hard concrete floors. Would either this Nature's Carpet or the Earth Weave equivalent allow two layers one on top of each other without any thing to attach both layers? From bottom to top: concrete, two layers of carpet padding, then the carpet. Also, would a moisture barrier be needed if laid on top of concrete on the ground level of a single storey house without a basement? Thanks for taking time to consider my questions. View answer

I am building a children's bed out of Yellow Pine for a friend and she is very conscious of VOCs and harmful chemicals. Even Tung Oil is not up to her standards. Is this a product you would recommend for this type of item? Or is there another product you would suggest? View answer

I have a basement with a poured concrete floor and block walls. I also have a radon issue. Radon mitigation has been installed and is providing good evacuation of the air under the slab BUT i believe that the unsealed block walls are "leaking" enough air to bring some radon into the space. Will treating the walls with GBS seal the walls against any airflow and hence the radon that would be carried in with the Air? View answer

I'm looking for an adhesive to use to secure cedar boards to the inside of a large wooden hope chest to create a cedar chest. Will this work well for that purpose? If yes, how many tubes do you think I would need for a chest with dimensions 41" W x 20" D x 18" T, using cedar boards that are 3.75" wide? Or alternatively, how much of this adhesive is needed per square inch or ft to hold wood to wood? View answer
