I have new solid oak floors that have been sealed with AFM naturals oil wax finish. They are beautiful when looking straight down at them; however when looking lengthwise they look dry and show sanding variations. (We took this flooring from tree to floor after years of drying time and we sanded them instead of having a professional). Would the bioshield help even out the look? Also we live in a very sandy area and have pets. There will be a lot of traffic on these floors. Would I need to strip the bioshield and start over periodically or can I just continue to apply and buff? View answer

Im considering applying this to 2x6 pine t&g flooring. Its for a new build. I'm hoping to coat all sides with 1 coat, install, and then protect with floor protection (cardboard builders board) to help mitigate any potential damage during the rest of the construction. After all construction is finished I would sand the floor and reapply oil/wax. Does this seem like an appropriate approach? If so, how long would you say I need to wait between applying the first coat prior to install and covering with builder board (to avoid any issues with curing under builder board). Thanks for your help! View answer

We have polished mud floors that were treated initially with several coats of linseed oil, left to dry for quite a while and then waxed with Bioshield #32 and buffed. That was a couple years ago and was appears as if it needs to be reapplied. Our question is whether we should apply any oil, either Bioshield Hard Oil #9 or another oil first before reapplying the Bioshield #32? Or is there something else we should do before reapplying and buffing with the Bioshield wax #32? View answer

I need to seal a new white cement counter top. It absorbs water readily so its able to absorb liquids. Everyone I call says they have nothing that is non- toxic to help as it needs to be able to penetrate the concrete. Someone suggested this product and said we'd need to re buff ever so often. I used Safecoat Naturals clear penetrating oil to seal my new deck about five years ago. I'd like to reseal it - and I (foolishly) never sealed the underside. What is the best way to prepare the wood for reapplication? Do I have to sand, or can i use a power washer and a cleaning product such as Defy? View answer
