I saw a video regarding the difference in color between the AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP sheens (gloss is milky white, clear, and the satin and (I assume) matte are colored. The video states that they both dry clear, but the satin and matte may "build up" a color on the surface if more than one coat is used. Here is my question: will the Acrylacq in matte also do this? Is it clear or "muddy" like the satin/matte Polyureseal BP? I have white kitchen cabinets that I want to keep a matte sheen, but not change the color with several coats of sealer. View answer

We have an oak cabinet (veneer shelves and sides, solid doors and trim) that was built about 30 years ago by a local carpenter. We love it but it has had a "doggie doo" smell inside ever since we got it when it was new. It still does! It looks totally normal, but when you open the doors, there it is.
