I have an old wood dresser and live in San Francisco. The humidity is usually around 50% and our dresser and clothes in it have started to smell a bit funky. I tried cleaning it with vinegar and leaving it outside but the smell is still there. Do you think one of your products will seal in the smell and probably mold spores in the dresser? View answer

I'm looking for a water based polyacrylic to cover a wood measuring stick I created for my daughter. I have acrylic paint pens for marking her age, so polyacrylic would be perfect for protecting it but also being able to paint over in the future. However, I'm having a hard time finding a VOC-free version. Do you have a product that will match this need? View answer

I am potentially interested in purchasing a sealer (AFM SafeCoat) for some grass cloth wallpaper in my baby's nursery. After reviewing the products available, I can't decide if AFM Safecoat Hard Seal or Acrylacq would be better (or something else I've missed). The wallpaper will be hung with a low-VOC adhesive and hopefully completely installed by the middle of June. My baby is due in the middle of September and I thought I'd give the wallpaper a couple months to cure, then apply the sealer to be safe. I would like to paint the sealer on myself, but I read that there is a bit of a smell. What causes this smell, anything dangerous to the baby? View answer

What is a "fine haired rectangular poly pad"? I am having a lot of trouble with brushing on the Acrylacq, even when I pre-moisten the surface with a damp rag. I get a lot of air bubbles. I noticed in one of the comments that you recommend a poly pad as an applicator - but I am in the dark about what a poly pad is - any help is appreciated. Thanks! View answer

I have previously used polyurethane to Seal tongue and groove in my house. Obviously it is toxic and the fumes are disgusting. What do you recommend to use on tongue and groove in a bathroom including the shower ceiling that would give me a semi gloss look and the protection i need? View answer
