Does this yellow over time or will it yellow white painted cabinets? I will test beforehand but if a different product is better for using over newly painted white cabinets so that it doesn't yellow over time would love go know before I use. I will sample a piece beforehand so just let me know! View answer

I'm a guitar builder and looking for an alternative to nitrocellulose lacquer. I've contacted afm haven't got great answers but hopefully you can help. What do you recommend as a vinyl sealer? Is a primer necessary? Can I tint my own colors? How many coats of clear a recommended before level sanding? How long to cure before level sanding? On a side note, is there a $ amount for free shipping? View answer

hi there! looking for some clear (matte or invisible) sealant for indoor, in/exterior of clay pots. I live in an awful mildewy building, and the mild/mold is so bad I think it's affecting my plants. and me obv!! it's for houseplants not edibles, but I'm sensitive to VOCs. this doesn't sound like what I'm looking for, but any other products fit that bill? I was given eight 3 ft x 5 ft metal boxes I intend to use as veggie beds. What do you recommend I paint on the inside to keep the boxes from rusting away too soon and is safe to treat the inside of these metal boxes so that the veggies that people eat won't absorb anything toxic from either the paint or leaching from the metal? The boxes on the inside are presently coated with dirt, some paint, lots of rust and bare metal. View answer

I have a problem with a dark tar and gravel roof that doesn't leak, it just gets full sun and makes an incredibly hot attic (over 100 degrees) and huge summer AC bills. The attic has unpainted rafter boards. Can I apply this with some semi-gloss paint to the exterior on top of the tar and gravel? Secondly, I saw you advise another person to apply the paint inside the attic. Can I also spray the unpainted wood rafters on the underside of the roof to get more protection? View answer

Can this be applied over damp raw concrete? The exterior wall of the under-stair storage in my basement is below grade and has never been treated. It smells mouldy and there is gunk on the concrete (the house is 90 years old). Can I apply this product on the (cleaned) concrete? View answer

I have new cabinets. We had them custom built and they were to us a specialties coat for sensitive people. They are still off gassing after 3 months. We do not want to re topcoat them. Would any of your cleaning or no glass wipe on products be of any help and ok to use on wood varnished doors? View answer

I have read that cork flooring does not do well in places where there are extremes in temperature. We would like to lay cork over a tile floor in Phoenix Arizona where there can be 30 degree changes in temperature in one day, and temps ranging from the 40 in the winter to 115 in the summer. Humidity is usually low - it is 17% today. Of course, our homes are AC/heat controlled, but failures can happen. Will cork floors work in this setting? View answer
