The installation guide recommends a glue-down installation in high-moisture situations and areas that get direct sunlight. I'm hoping to install this in a kitchen with a skylight, however there's already a glue down cork floor in the room (solid, fairly level, but surface is beyond repair). Can I install this cork floor as a glue-down on top of the existing cork floor? Or is it ok to float? If yes to gluing, what adhesive is best? Thanks! View answer

Is this slip proof for dogs? We currently have laminate and have been recommended luxury vinyl to reduce dogs slipping while standing and regular walking but I would prefer a less toxic solution such as cork as long as it will still help my dogs stand and walk comfortably without sliding on the floor. Thank you so much View answer

If floating this Amorim Wise waterproof floor over plywood subfloors in the upstairs bedrooms, which underlayment do you recommend to provide the best thermal (keeping floors/room warm in the winter) and acoustic insulation? Either the Quiet Walk Plus underlayment or USFloors cork underlayment? Thank you! View answer

If a dog pees on the floor or some other large quantity of liquid spills (especially if you are not able to clean it up right away) would you have to pull up planks to clean it? I get that the planks are waterproof but how does this prevent liquid from getting under them onto the vapor barrier? View answer

Hello, I live in a high-rise condo and the HOA requires that the subfloor and flooring meet this class rating, does the waterproof cork flooring and subflooring meet this requirement? "The underlayment must achieve the floor assembly to yield a field "Impact Insulation Class" rating of at least fifty five (55) when tested according to the American Society of Testing Materials Designation E-1007-84 ("Field Measurement of Tapping Machine Impact Sound Transmission Through Floor-Ceiling Assemblies and Associated Support Structures'), and with classification to be in accordance to ASTM designation E-989-84 ("Determination of Impact Insulation Class")." Is this flooring truly non-toxic? I will be installing it in a baby's room and he will be crawling in it. It says there's no ADDED lead, so does that mean there is lead in the flooring? I've also read that nano-coatings like that used in this product can abrade or otherwise leach from the surface and the particles can cause health problems. Is that a concern with this flooring? Thanks. View answer
