I'm confused about the VOC content. Here it's listed as 35 g/L, the SDS sheet shows 14.67 g/L, then the ingredients list seems to apply 0 g/L and 19 g/L at 240 F. So what is it exactly? Why are there completely different numbers reported all around on the product page? View answer

Hi! We have click type marmoleum that got water damage and mold in an area. Can we pull up just a 5 foot area and install the roll flooring? Will it be the same height? Do I need to cut and replace the underlayment? Thank you! View answer

I'm thinking of getting an Ikea wardrobe cabinet (Pax), but the sides of the shelves are exposed particle board. The inside of the sidewalls have peg holes for the adjustable shelves. These holes (approx. 1/4" round and deep) are also exposed particle board. Which AFM product would be best to use to seal these? In addition, if I decide to seal the whole cabinet (the Ikea description says it is made of fibreboard and paper foil) which AFM product would I use? Are AFM sealer products completely inert when dry? (i.e. absolutely no smell) View answer

Our goal is to have a floor that has good cushioning, insulation, soundproofing and can hold up to furniture and foot traffic (2nd floor bedroom, office, playroom). I'm torn between Cork or Marmoleum.I'd like your opinion on the durability of the Go-cork plank product. Indenting, fading and non-waterproof seem to be the main marks against it. Can you interpret these numbers? From what I can see on this website, the Cork has IIC 58, STC 54, r-value: ? compared to Marmoleum IIC57, ASTM E 492, STC ?, r-value 0.53.Am I to understand that marmoleum plank has almost similar properties to Cork plank? AFM Safecoat information states "For raw wood surfaces, use AFM's Ecolacq Sandable Primer."OSB generally counts as "raw wood", so should the AFM Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used? More specifically, for stud framing, should the Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used before CaliWel? View answer

I want to seal only the underside of a galvanized steel stock tank with Dynoseal. it's specs state good adhesion to metal but not specifically galvanized metals. Would it be best to apply this metal primer first then apply the Dynoseal? Are these two products chemically compatible? Is this two step process even necessary? I'm unsure if the Dynoseal will adhere well to the galv steel on it's own. Thank you! View answer
