I recently purchased HardSeal, which I was told would absolutely stop cabinets and a countertop from off gassing. In reading the tiny information on the can I discovered it says do NOT use on chipboard or particle board, which is the very stuff cabinets and countertops are made of! What is the story here? I want to seal our fiberglass / acrylic bathtub that gets dirty very easily and is very hard to scrub clean. Not 100% sure of the material but it is a dull white that seems a bit porous, it's definitely not enamel over metal or porcelain. It seems like "plastic" which is why it gets so dirty. Will this sealer product do the job for me. Will this product stay in tact and be a durable surface that will be easier to keep clean?? it's a solid excellent tub otherwise. View answer
