I am looking for carpet protection. Covering for an office chair. I have tried plywood (splinters) same with bamboo. Plastic from an office supply store ( chair sinks into plastic ) I am thinking I need a steel sheet covering. I guess the real problem is... I weigh 300 lbs and the wheels won't move after sitting more than a minute or two. What would you recommend? View answer

Is the HDF used in the Marmoleum click product safe? the MSDS sheet says it contains 'free formaldehyde' of class E1. My understanding is the with an E1 rating the product can still contain 0.1ppm formaldehyde. I've seen laminate floors with Greenguard Gold certification which would have much lower formaldehyde concentrations. View answer
