I ordered a new cast iron radiator (steam radiator) which comes pre-primed by the manufacturer. They said that without painting it with a "Non alkalized oil based enamel" the radiator would be off-gassing toxins and it Shouldn't be used until it's painted. Would this plus normal AFM paint work for this issue? I don't want toxic fumes/off-gassing in my baby's room where the new radiator is going. View answer

I am trying to clean up some residue drops on a concrete slab from where spray foam insulation was sprayed overhead. We are staining the concrete with acid stain and so all of the foam residue needs to be removed or the finished floor will show spots in it. Will the 600GL or 540PM product work for this application? I purchased a wooden cabinet to turn into a bathroom vanity. I do not know what type of stain was used on it. I would like to apply a protective coating without sanding off the finish to protect the wood from water and general moisture in the bathroom. Would this be a good fit, even over the unknown type of stain? View answer

We are planning to install Marmoleum click tiles and panels in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room of our cabin. The rooms are small and oddly shaped and we wondered whether Moisture Block needs to seal at the edges of the room? We will likely need to use self-leveler in some areas as well to ensure that the floors are flat enough for installation, should we order cork instead? View answer

I am going to use this in a basement. The subfloor/ceiling is rough sawn cedar and sanding would be labor intensive, we are not able to do that and would just rather paint over them as is. There are stains from mold that was treated with concrobium, and we want to use either the coating or primer over it. We will likely use a bright white paint over the first coat but are undecided about that at this point. What would you recommend we use? The contractors we had out to look were going to use a toxic encapsulation coating after mold removal and we want to be sure the mold is not just sandwiched, but gone. View answer
