Hi, My back porch has an old Flat rusting metal roof on it that was tarred over many years ago. The tar is crumbling and needs to be removed. The roof has 2 parts- 1 flat and one sloped. Could this roof guard Safecoat product be "painted" over the old metal roof to create a waterproof barrier? Thank you! Genevieve View answer

Would this product be appropriate, as a first and/or only coat, to seal and protect new, raw white plaster walls (once they are fully dry)? If so, would this product darken the plaster, or dry completely clear? And if I want to tint this product, will the effect be different if the tinted coat is applied OVER an un-tinted coat? And finally, if I someday want to paint over this product with ordinary wall paint, will it require any special preparation? Thank you! View answer

I am stuck with horrible wood cabinets with a dark, glossy finish that is chipped. I want to easily paint them, and I will not sand them first. Are any of your paints able to cover the horrible old stain, and go over it without sanding? How many coats should I be prepared to put on? View answer

I have red oak floors that have had danish oil and paste wax on them many years ago. Do I need to get every bit of the old oil and wax off before I use this. I really don't want to sand but don't mind stripping the wax. If I need to sand do I need to get down to raw wood? View answer
