We are not familiar with catalyst paint, so you should test first to make sure you can get a good bond. DO NOT USE SAFE SEAL - this is a rubbery behind-the-scenes opaque product and will not look good on a bathroom vanity.For encapsulating cabinets, we would recommend Acrylacq or Hard Seal.
