I'm planning on painting some plywood and particle board but am interested in lowering VOC emissions. Do you recommend using AFM SafeCoat Primer and then Zero VOC paint? Or does it need to be sealed first with one of the AFM sealers and then primed and painted?

For best results in blocking VOC emissions, one coat of AFM Safecoat Transitional Primer and at least two coats of AFM Safecoat Zero VOC paint is all you need. We also recommend covering both sides and edges as well.
