Presuming the surrounding area is already painted, then yes, I would recommend Transitional Primer followed by AFM Safecoat Zero VOC Paint.
I have torn drywall paper in a few areas and was going to use a primer called "Gardz"(by Zinnser) to seal the paper. Will this primer serve the same purpose or should I seal Gradz with this primer and AFM zero VOC paint? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Transitional Primer (Int/Ext) Paints & Primers
