For a non-toxic clear coat that will protect the table and make it easy to clean, we recommend the AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP. It is a water-based, non-toxic finish that will stand up to wear and tear and protect the table. It will not leech any harmful chemicals into any food that comes into contact with it. If you are wanting to stain the table, choose the AFM DuroTone first before application of the Poly BP. Samples of both products are available for testing.
