I have an old wood dresser and live in San Francisco. The humidity is usually around 50% and our dresser and clothes in it have started to smell a bit funky. I tried cleaning it with vinegar and leaving it outside but the smell is still there. Do you think one of your products will seal in the smell and probably mold spores in the dresser?

Our encapsulating sealers are designed for synthetic chemical off-gassing of VOCs, but not organic odors like mold. An AFM sealer like Acrylacq or Poly BP may help with the smell, but it will not mitigate mold. You can also try cleaning the dresser with our HydroxiPro Power Safe, which effectively kills mold if allowed to sit for 10 minutes or more. It is non-toxic and hydrogen peroxide based.
