Could SafeCoat Acrylacq protect decorated license plate frames (colored glass gems glued on chrome-plated steel frames) on cars, outdoors? What sheen and how many coats do you suggest? Do you recommend brush painting, spraying, or dipping?

This product is formulated for wood. So this would definitely be outside the box usage. We sell sample sizes if you would like to test for a good bond and finished look. You could spray or brush it on, we would not recommend dipping.
