For raised garden beds we recommend using AFM Dynoseal on the inside as it prevents the wet soil from rotting the wood and it prevents the tannins in the wood from leaching into the soil. It is black in color and designed as a waterproofing membrane below grade for building foundation walls and fence posts as well as a waterproofing membrane in shower pans. Two coats, 100 Sf/gallon.On the outside, use our Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Exterior Penetrating Stain. Two coats, wet on damp, will cover 200-400SF/gallon depending upon the wood porosity. Darker colors will last far longer than the clear. Pressure treated wood should sit for a year before application.Do not use AcriGlaze outdoors.
