Is this safe to use on plastics, more specifically, 3D printed plastics like ASA, ABS, or other plastic filaments?

AFM AcriGlaze will bond to many surfaces, porous and non-porous. However, the best way to know for sure is to test a small sample and see how well it bonds. If you are trying to block VOC emissions, 3 coats are recommended. Otherwise, two coats usually is adequate. This comes in matte and gloss finishes.
