Hi there I am an artist that uses acrylic and spray paint on wood. I have been having bad asthma due to resin and the smell my acrylic markers and paint give off. I am trying to find an alternative that�s healthier not going to cause asthma attacks but still keep that clear gloss shine and protection over my paintings like resin. I understand it wouldn't be waterproof because it�s not resin, but will it at least be scratch proof? Does it take 2-4 weeks to fully dry if I apply 2 thin coats. AFM Safecoat AcriGlaze is low odor when first applied and odorless once it has dried. It can be used over acrylic paint to give a clear, protective finish. It will be dry after 4 hours. It is not scratch proof. We recommend that you order a sample and test it first to see if you like the finish and if you are comfortable with this product after it has fully dried.
