Bioshield Herbal Oil is a great choice for a "food grade" product. Food grade means that food can come in contact with the surface and still be edible. Most oils will tend to slightly golden (or amber) the surface of the wood however. If you must have clear finish, then our AFM Polyureseal BP will provide a moisture and abrasion resistant finish that will not amber. However, you cannot cut on it and toddlers can not chew on this as it is not edible.
