Also is it ok to use your degreaser to clean the basement floor and then follow with paint? We have a septic system and I read that the degreaser could destabilize the septic system. No this product is not designed to be used in that manner. The concrete floor paint is not designed for areas that have hydrostatic pressure or areas with any standing water. If you have a septic system then the Fran Mar degreaser would NOT be able to be used it has a pH of12.18 and would destabilize the septic system.
