Can i use this in my apartment walls will it keep my animals safe from mold growing inside walls til i can get us out of here and can u paint over this after dried with a colored paint ?

Yes, you can use in your apartment and it will keep your animals safer from mold because it is non-toxic and yet the calcium hydroxide in it will kill the mold and inhibit its growth but you don't want to paint over it because that will block the reaction of the Caliwel with the mold spores however if you don't care about that you can certainly paint over it.
