We have a garage that we've converted to a cabin for my father. We put up chipboard walls and ceiling. He is chemical sensitive to the off-gassing. Would applying AFM Safe Seal to the already-installed boards solve the problem? We would only be treating one side of the boards.

Yes, even if you can only apply two coats of AFM Safe Seal to one side that will help control formaldehyde emissions immensely. Ideally, if you can also get the edges and back that would be even better. One gallon covers 350-400 SF in one coat. We stock this product and can ship immediately.
