No. SafeSeal is only designed for blocking VOC emissions in composite wood products and is not food grade. We recommend our AFM Naturals Oil which is a food grade oil. This should be used only after the surface has been cleaned and sanded with up to 120 grit sandpaper. Be sure to seal all sides and edges.
