I am thinking of installing a butcher block kitchen counter, but am worried about water damage around the sink. Will this product if applied top, bottom and edges provide good and long lasting waterproofing around the sink area?

If you are treating a butcher block counter that has been freshly sanded and is raw wood without any previous sealers, then we recommend our AFM Safecoat Naturals Oil Wax Finish vs the AFM Safecoat Naturals Clear Penetrating Oil as the wax in this is more protective than just the oil.
