We are doing new construction and I would love to have the FORBO Click product on both the upper and lower levels, however with pricing and installation, it is out of budget. I see this cannot be used on vinyl. I am wondering if it would be safe and effective for LVP Click Planks? If so, I could do marmoleum click downstairs and LVP upstairs with the safe coat as a compromise for our budget but while still prioritizing health and air quality. HardSeal may work for a while on vinyl LVP but it will not hold up that long and will need to be reapplied. Three coats will be needed to block any VOC emissions. WITH ANY VINYL APPLICATION you will need to test first. We sell samples sizes for this purpose. Hard Seal will not work will all vinyl, just some vinyl.
