I'm in the process of using lead encapsulation paint to cover my antique window frames, however the paint I need to use is very matte similar to primer, so I'm looking for something to put on top of this lead encapsulation paint that has a gloss. AFM SafeCoat, Acrylacq is meant to be a topcoat over most water based products. As long as the paint your using is water based and you like the look/color of it, aside of the flatness, Acrylacq is a viable option. Order small samples online first to test to have assurance of adherence to that paint.
