AFM SafeCoat Hard Seal is not recommended for flooring. Laminate flooring is very difficult to bond to and must be roughed up first with sandpaper 100-120 grit. After sanding you could use our AFM Polyureseal BP which is a non-toxic polyurethane. We recommend at least 2 coats. If you are wanting to block the VOC emissions of the laminate, this product will not do much. That's because most of the odors are coming from the edges or backing and those are not accessible and cannot be sealed.
