Formica is very smooth and difficult for any product to bond to. Hard Seal is formulated for wood and would not work for this application.AFM Acrylacq or AFM Polyureseal BP MIGHT bond IF the surface is roughed up/slightly sanded to provide some tooth for the coating to grip on to. We recommend you test with samples to makes sure you can get a good bond and love the look and feel before committing to the whole project.
