Hard Seal is AFM's flagship product that started the company more than 35 years ago. This multi-use, clear gloss sealer is formulated to provide mar resistance to both low- and high-porosity surfaces. It forms a continuous membrane and when applied properly in a multiple coat application is particularly effective at sealing in outgassing pollution or toxic chemical compounds.AFM recommends sealing both sides and all edges three times. Some of our customers say two times is enough. However, it depends on the amount of emissions, temperature, humidity, ventilation and your own sensitivity. Be sure to allow adequate time in between coats for complete drying and then about five days after the final coat for complete curing.
