Any pressure-treated wood needs to season for a year before putting a sealer over top of it. You will want to use an exterior grade sealer or sealer/stain combo or paint. In descending order of protection : Paint will provide the most protection and last the longest. we carry Exterior Satin Paints from ECOS and AFM Safecoat. A sealer/stain combo would provide the second-highest resistance to uv rays and the elements, the darker the stain, the more protection. For a stain/sealer combo check out Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Exterior Wood Protector or Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Ext Penetrating Stain. In third place would be clear sealers like AFM Safecoat EXT Polyureseal Clear, with no stain or pigments it has less umph to fight against wood greying/aging, but it's clear coat gives protection against abrasion.
