I want in my bathroom but am hesitant due to the chance of water seeping into seems and getting moldy or warping the material, esp since it is a layered veneer. (I am also concerned about pipes bursting now that I just survived this TX ice storm and am afraid the cork would be ruined whereas my current tile os holding up well). Will you please speak to this?

People are installing Waterproof Cork flooring in every room in the house. It is waterproof from the top down, so it's recommended that you use a moisture barrier underlayment like Quietwalk Plus. Keep in mind that cork, in its natural properties is a mold and mildew inhibitor so, with that extra protection, the likelihood of mold and mildew is greatly reduced.
