The Amorim Wise line is inherently waterproof because of the makeup/construction of the product, mainly the cork components which are very water resistant to begin with. The mineral components involved in the construction/process of making the core are also a contributing factor.As for the non-toxic piece, the Wise product is produced PVC free, there is also no off gassing with the Amorim Wise products. Also Amorim Wise has a negative carbon balance.
