I am a cabinet maker and looking for a lacquer substitute that is more environmentally friendly. This seems like a good fit. Is there a line/brand of stains that work well with this product or will any non oil based stain work? Going non oil based drastically reduces selection in stain/finish products but its a move I'm looking to make for my business. Also. Is this available in 5gal?

Yes, Acrylacq is available in 5 gallon units. The easiest recommendation is to stay in-brand and go with water based AFM Safecoat DuroTone for your staining needs. If you like working with oils, we do carry a zero VOC natural oil stain finish in a wide range of colors, Rubio Monocoat, Oil Plus 2C, Interior Stain Kit (not to be used in conjunction with Acrylacq, as oil and water based products do not mix). We have samples of all these products so you can test.
