Can this be used on butcher block countertops or would you recommend another of your products? So far they have been sanded and the only products used are Howards butcher block conditioner and cutting board oil, which is just a food grade mineral oil.

You could use AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP on a butcher block countertop if you start with bare wood or wood that has been stained with a water-based stain, like AFM Safecoat Durotone. However, those are water-based products and should not be applied over the cutting board oil you have used because they will not adhere. To continue with a food-grade oil-based product, try Bioshield Wood Counter Finish.
