AFM SafeCoat Hard Seal is not designed for use on the floor. If you are trying to block the odor or VOC emissions, we do not offer a product for this purpose for two reasons: 1) the odors or emissions are escaping from the edges or back which are not accessible from the top and 2) it is very difficult to bond to the surface without extensive sanding. Unfortunately, we do not know of any other way to mitigate this short of replacement with a safer flooring.
