I was asked to put a food safe, non-toxic finish on a donut holder for a wedding. The holder has Minwax Early American stain on it already. Can I use one of your products to seal the wood and stain to make it food safe?

The Minwax stain would need to be sanded off in order to remove the solvents and make it easier for our sealers to adhere well. Once sanded you can apply any of our food grade products such as: AFM SafeCoat Natural Clear Penetrating Oil, BioShield Herbal Oil, and BioShield Cutting Board Finish. Samples of each are available for $9.95 including shipping.
