Amorim Waterproof cork is .28" thick overall. It is made of cork from top to bottom, however the core is impregnated with high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is a food-grade plastic used in milk containers.The top layer is a UV cured acrylic urethane and comes with a lifetime residential warranty on the wear layer and lifetime warranty on the structure.We recommend ordering a sample box of 10 samples which will help answer most of your questions.
