Oil Wax needs to be applied directly to the raw wood. You will need to totally sand off the shellac to get down to fresh, raw wood and then apply per the application instructions.
I have old pine boards that has shellac throughout my house. Can this product be applied over this. Shellac last out on over 15 years and beginning to peel. Don't want to use shellac? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Naturals Oil Wax Finish Wood Stains & Sealers
