I have unpolished/unsealed travertine tile floors in a high traffic area. Would the Mexeseal or the Polyureseal BP be the more durable/recommended of the two products for travertine floors?

We consulted with the manufacturer and they suggested that you get a sample of AFM Safecoat Polyureseal EXT and test on an inconspicuous area to see if you get good adhesion and the appearance works for you. Because it is topical, it will produce a little shine (and slickness when wet). EXT would provide the best wear protection and stain resistance compared to Mexeseal.
