Last year we bought a finch pine picnic table with a clear coat finish. Since the table lives outdoors, we want to keep it well-protected by applying a fresh coat every spring. Is this the best product of yours to protect an exterior finch pine picnic table? Thank you.

If you want to sand the finish down to the raw wood, you may use this or the Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey, Exterior, Penetrating Stain. If your current finish is water based and you want to apply a clear coat on top of the water based finish, rough it up, clean it and use AFM Safecoat, EXT Exterior Polyureseal Clear. If the current finish is oil based, we sell nothing that is meant to stick to oil based. Order small samples online to test of any you are interested in.
