AFM SafeCoat Hard Seal is not designed for use on laminate flooring. If you are trying to block the odor or VOC emissions, we do not offer a product for this purpose for two reasons: 1) the odors or emissions are escaping from the edges, and back, which are not accessible from the top after the floor has been installed and 2) it is very difficult to bond to a laminates smooth surface without extensive sanding, as laminate has no sandable wear layer to speak of, this means you cannot get a good bond to that top surface. Unfortunately, we do not know of any other way to mitigate this short of replacement with a safer flooring.
