I appreciate your outside the box idea, but no. If you want the satin look, you should go over your flat paint with satin paint.
if i put satin over flat paint will i get a satin look to the paint or should i use satin paint? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Polyureseal BP, Matte Wood Stains & Sealers
