Can this be used on painted hardwood floors? Or do you recommend another product for that?

Acrylacq is primarily recommended for cabinets and trim. For interior floors we would recommend Polyureseal BP as it has built in abrasion resistance provided the floors were painted with a water based paint (it will not go over oil).
