I have some gloss Acrylaq leftover from a furniture project. Now I want to do a floor with a matte or satin finish. Can I get away with using the Acrylaq as my gloss base coat, or do I need to purchase both gloss and satin SafeCoat for the floor?

We would advise against using Acrylacq on your floor. It is formulated differently for different purposes, and does not give abrasion resistance. For floors, all layers of coating, best to stick to AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP. Use gloss as the initial coat(s) for the clearest visual, then finish with the sheen you want (matte or satin in your case)
