Can this product (AFM SafeCoat, Naturals Clear Penetrating Oil) be used to reapply over wood that was previously treated with a penetrating oil stain applied three-four years ago? (It would be applied to an outdoor shed that the previous owner had treated, approximately 280 sq feet total surface area.)

Since the previous finish was oil and due to the length of time that the sealer has been on there, it is likely that it would work to use AFM SafeCoat's Clear Penetrating Oil on top of your previous sealer. However, the only way to know for sure, is to test. We provide samples size of of the liquid products for $9.95 just for this purpose. Underneath the green "Add to cart" button you'll see an "add a sample to cart".
